Corporate Bullying Seminar

Workplace bullying is often minimised, silenced, or overlooked—yet its impact can be devastating. At the Akinya Foundation, we believe every individual deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued at work.

Our Corporate Bullying Seminar creates a space for honest conversations about power, harm, and accountability. Grounded in lived experience and trauma-informed practice, this seminar empowers organisations to move beyond awareness toward meaningful change.

Together, we can challenge harmful workplace cultures and build environments where dignity and wellbeing are non-negotiable.

Situational Awareness & Empowerment

Our situational seminars are designed to equip students and professionals with practical skills to enhance personal safety, awareness, and confidence. Through engaging school and corporate workshops, participants learn how to recognize potential threats, set clear boundaries, and respond effectively in challenging situations.

The seminars combine situational awareness, verbal boundary-setting, and basic self-defence principles to help individuals protect themselves while promoting calm decision-making and personal empowerment.

Our goal is to create safer schools, workplaces, and communities by giving people the knowledge and confidence to protect their peace, defend their power, and support one another.

Anti-Bullying Awareness

Woman's Only MMA Training

Woman's Only MMA Training

Bullying affects people of all ages and environments — from school playgrounds to professional workplaces. Our Anti-Bullying Campaign focuses on education, awareness, and practical strategies to recognize, prevent, and respond to bullying behaviour.

Through engaging school seminars and corporate workshops, we equip students, educators, and professionals with the knowledge and tools to build safer, more respectful communities. Participants learn how to identify different forms of bullying, support those affected, set healthy boundaries, and take action when witnessing harmful behaviour.

Our goal is to empower individuals to create environments where respect, accountability, and empathy replace intimidation and silence.

Together, we can build communities where everyone feels safe, valued, and heard.

In partnership with Vector MMA & Fitness and The Akinya Foundation, our Women’s-Only MMA Training programme provides a safe, supportive, and empowering space where women can develop confidence, strength, and practical self-defence skills.

Classes are presented by experienced coaches Linsy Willemse, Annie Kohn, and Erik Coetzee, who are passionate about making martial arts accessible to women of all fitness levels. Whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time or looking to expand your skills, our beginner-friendly sessions focus on building confidence through combat, improving physical and mental resilience, and teaching realistic self-defence techniques for everyday situations.

More than just a training programme, these classes offer a welcoming community where women can learn, grow, and support one another while becoming stronger together and safer everywhere.
